Synopsis.
One lovely day, a small red tow truck drives into town with a boy at wheel aged about eight. His name is Pluk and he is looking for somewhere to live. No one can help him find a room and Pluk seeks solace in the Turtle Garden, a scruffy park. There he meets Dolly the Dove and she tells him about the empty room in the tower atop the Petteflet. After moving into the Petterflet penthouse, Pluk gets to know several inhabitants and finds out about their problems. He makes new friends like Agata, Mr Pen but also animals Zaza. Longhors, Karel with the wooden leg and Dizzily. When the Turtle Garden is threatened with demolition to make way for a new museum for extinct birds, Pluk tries to find a solution to rescue the park and the animals that live in the park. Will he succeed?
