Synopsis.
One night old Mel sees a great light in the sky, surely a woman. So the villagers from a small caravan and set out on an arduous journey to the place the light seems to point to. They meet two more caravans going there too, the near a mysterious city, they find a ruined and deserted hamlet where a new-born baby is being tended by his humble parents. But after presenting their gifts, the pilgrims flee at the approach of the armed soldiers sent by the governor to the city and abandon the defenceless child and his parents to their fate.
