POMPEI IMPERIUM: APOCALYPSE

Synopsis.

Pompeii, attempted to tell the story of Christianity’s spreading through the Roman Empire, basing on historical information indicating a possible presence of Christians also in Pompeii during that period. A disaster movie in two parts, leading us however to explore the route involving the mixing of genres: epic with mystery and a love story too. In making Pompeii a lot of special effects have been used, to the extent that this is probably the Italian TV miniseries with the highest number.
